Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited

Believe it or not I actually did some work on my project. :brian-banana: I filled some of the covering overlap seams in the obvious spots then sanded and primed them. I spot primed them with with an aerosol product we use a lot at work for small cut through areas. It's not big progress, but it...

    Show Me the Biplanes!!!!

It's the airplane featured on Culp's website. It seems that they were based originally on the Skybolt. And were basically a Skybolt R. It seems that the kits now days have Pitts model 12 fuselages that have been modified and use Skybolt wings. I have a 3 view of a Skybolt R, but it's not really...

    Impressive Customer Service

I'm lucky enough at my field to have a few guys that really know their way around Revo stuff. One of them designed the Bump Controller for Revo chargers and the other two were Beta test guys for that unit.

    Wing Bolts

I've used the Secraft ones from Aztech, there pretty nice. I drilled a hole in mine for a hitch pin after a buddy of mine had a couple come off. The stud is aluminum so drilling is easy.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I been working in the workshop every night this week trying to clear the workbench of HO model railroad stuff so I can get back on airplanes. I've been installing DCC decoders in locomotives for a friend. I've got all 8 of them installed, wired, programed and tested. Now I need to tidy up the...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I used two 25 lbs digitals on the mains and a 10 lbs one on the tail. I bought mine on ebay. They are cheap Chinese ones that I checked with a calibration weight I use for a paint scale at work.

I've never used the scales to balance one, but you certainly can. I have a friend with a really nice balancer, so I just borrow it.
