    Futaba 8FG(S)

Yes you can use either for either type of aircraft. There may be more differences but basically the heli version has a smooth throttle and the plane version has a ratcheted throttle. The other difference is when you first turn it on. The heli version startes up the first time in the heli mode...

If you truly set it up per the EF manual you are hardly from very little expo in the low rate. Put in 0 expo and then that is the same as no KE Mix. My KE mix is 4% and 5% "that" is very little compared to 40-45% expo. 60" Edge and 48" Extra manual Aileron: Low rate-15-20%; 40-45%...

    Knife Edge tips.

Just stirring up the pot here for conversation, I learning flying RC helicopters before there was gyro's for the tail rotor. How many people today learn to fly a RC Helicopter without a gyro? My guess is the answer is no one. A gyro is automatic gear on heli's so why not learn to fly the...

What motor would you use in a 50cc size?

I would add that as much as I love my DA-60 if I did not get such a good deal used I would not have hesitated to get the DLE55. I have seen many planes fly pretty darn good with one.

Another vote on the DA-60, I really like mine. Great throttle response and power. Do it right the first time!

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Of course it is all a personal feeling but I feel I am so much more locked in using pinch than thumbs. You should benefit from it to Gary because of the strap that you use not needing to really hold onto the transmitter.

    What's on your bench?

Don't do it unless you are ready to buy one. I sold two of my foamies at Hucktoberfest to add funds to my budget for a 57" SC. Then I fly Jeff's from Dallas there and I was like "Wow". So I ordered one when I got home. Crazy good.
