    I was hoping to have this painted but just ran out of time. I don't paint but once or twice a year and that is normally a cowl or hatch. This project has really challenged me. Very frustrating at times but rewarding. Still need to finish the stab but that will have to wait until next weekend.

    Well finally got this bird on its legs. All the glassing is done and onto the final prep work before paint. I took some time off of work at the end of August. My plan is to have it painted by the time Labor Day weekend is over.

    Boy that is tight. What if you were to omit the balsa brace and replace it with a piece of plywood in a U-shape configuration to allow room for the pipe.     No problem hovering Joe! The pipes don't hove much of jump, they are pretty linear compared to the others I've used. My Yak comes on about 26 lbs and all of my hovering low and slow maneuvers are well below where the pipe comes on. But like I mentioned it doesn't have much jump. I'm running...
