    I was able to get the stab mounted. I had to stiffen up the back end and luckily my dad had the dirty work done for me before he gave me the jet. He made up and glued in a 1/8" aircraft grade plywood former. He also laid in some carbon fiber on the inside of the fuse.

    I like Monokote also. I didn't have any trouble with the white, yellow or blue. But the metallic platinum was as you described. Scratches and swirl marks in the finish. Thankfully I was only cutting checkers so I was able to work around it
