    Hangar 9 33% Edge 540 Recover

I've used a piece of brass tubing with an inside diameter of 3/16. Sharpened on the inside. Put in ur drill and run it in over the hinge. You will have to plug the hole and redril. Either way you go about it, it sucks.

    Hangar 9 33% Edge 540 Recover

Good project! Since you have it all stripped down, might not be a bad idea to run some cross bracing in ur fuse. It will add tremendous strength with very little weight penalty.

Thanks again Terry, I'll have to take a look in this thread for that safety valve. Appreciate it!

3D Demystifying Vacuum Bagging of foam wings!!

Great thanks Terry! The directions weren't very clear, looks like there is a set screw to turn in order to set the Hg.

3D Demystifying Vacuum Bagging of foam wings!!

I finally pulled the trigger on an APC unit. It's only been a year and a half. Super excited to try it! But I have one question, what hg should I set the pump to? 4-6 hg on white foam? Thanks Terry for the great videos!

Sport 30% Edge 540 Pete Marshall Plans with Laser Cut Short Kit

Looking good! About your elevator servo , do you have enough room to lay it flat in the stab? If not you could put it in the fuse. But if you have to remove the stab for transportation you will have to disconnect your elevator linkage.

    ES composite pipes

When I drilled a hole in mine it felt like there was some metal in the neck. I haven't had any problems with mine.

    ES composite pipes

I haven't had my pipes in for more than half of a summer, so longevity is yet to be determined. But I do like their performance and sound. I used TBM's mount. ES only recommended one pipe mount.

No WORDS... RIP - Reza Gholamipour

I'm at a loss for words! I've talked to him through emails and the forums. He was certainly a stand up guy! Prayers go out to his family and friends.

    ES composite pipes

From what you described your flying style is similar to mine. I'm currently flying the pipes on my Yak, although different motor. My yak is set up in a way that all my low and slow stuff is way under the power band or on the pipe. Try contacting Trevor Brum. He has a wealth of knowledge...

Assembly: Aeroworks QB 150cc Yak 55M

Thank you Joe! I use the protractor to set my predetermined center but never thought of using it to set my control Horn height. I just measured to center and got close. In a short version I was only getting half way there to perfect servo geometry. It all makes sense now.

Great build man! Would you mind doing a quick video on your aileron geometry? I'm trying to wrap my head around it. Lots of info in that post.

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

I wish I would have had the sensor on before I baffled the motor. I put the sensor on the back side of the head towards the spark plug. I was seeing Temps at 185-205. Motor is no longer sagging. My air inlet to exit is 1:3. The motor is still breaking in so taking it easy. No 3d flying...

    JR DMSS Temp Sensor

I'm about to order a temp sensor and I'm a little confused on how to plug it into the RX. Horizon says to plug it into a Y harness or a Tls1 adapter. I'm only running one telemetry sensor because JR doesn't support two temp sensors. Apparently this is work in progress. Anyway can't I just...
