    A lot depends on your linkage and arm geometry. When the throttle butterfly is half open it doesn't necessarily mean half power. I like to make the linkage as linear as I can, then tune the throttle curve in the radio to make it feel right.

    I'm interested to know as well. I have a GP61 that I've got about 4 hrs of flight time on, and a little more than 2.5 gallons through. So far it's been excellent. Gobs of power and very smooth.

    No Limitz Spinners

    I had a Mejzlik on a Yak and loved it, but the shape is sort of odd. I was looking at the cone for one at a friends yesterday and even though it was a 5" spinner the cone was crazy light. I held it up to his Carf Extra 330sc and the shape looked really out of place.

    I have that same problem.;) No workshop time for me today.:( I did go to a friends house to check out his new Carf 35% Extra 330SC project. Carf has really stepped up there work since my ten year old 330L was built. No seams on the top side and the paint has a much better shine.

    IMAC Delro 2.5M Raven Build

    There are laser cut plywood wing servo mounts out there. On my Carf they are attached with wood blocks glued to a fiberglass hatch which is nice and clean.

    I built a Kougar back in the day with an O.S. 40 and a tuned pipe. It was fun and fast. Thinking back, that may have been my first foam wing project.

    Very cool little project. Getting back to basics! I love the shot of the fin and rudder in your hand, it really gives you the size perspective. And yet another reason I love this site. Your building a tiny stick, electric powered model and no one is complaining it's not giant scale. :way_to_go:
