    Seeing it in my shop for a few days got me back into flying after almost a decade. It's a 3 meter Carf SU31 that belongs to a friend. He did a little damage to it and had me do some painting on it over the 4th of July weekend in 2011. After looking at it for awhile I was hooked.

    Yeah some guys wouldn't know a negative G if it bit them on the butt, so it doesn't tank a great tank to keep the plane running.

    The field is Midwest Air Wing in Pontoon Beach IL. It's just a short drive North East of downtown St. Louis. We have over 110 members and on a nice Sunday you'll see the same 5 guys or less flying.

    On my 87" Pilot Edge I balanced in their CG range, but when I flew it it was tail heavy. It would climb pretty good when inverted. Even though I really liked how it flew there I moved the packs forward so it would at least stay level when inverted. There is just something that feels REALLY wrong...

    About like having a throttle servo quit at a very fast idle right after takeoff with no kill switch.:msn_slap: Too fast of an idle to land and just enough to fly, with a full tank of fuel. Needless to say now I never leave the ground without a kill switch.

    I'm with Terry on the brand thing. While I've never had any real problems with mine, I did recently swap it for a Glacier and the mah per flight dropped by a fair amount in the Trex 550 helicopter it was in. I prefer to run an A123, but the shape of the LiFe fits better.
