    Request Spell Checker

I was sort of surprised when I read this thread because on my desktop and laptop running Firefox there is a spell check. I just thought it was the forum doing it. My Galaxy Tab and Samsung phone all do as well.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Pretty cool. That would certainly be a lot less intimidating than this one was. For size reference the Extra in the photo is 90" span and was closer to the camera than the bird.

That should work very well. Not having to fight to get things at the right angle makes a successful paint job all that much easier.

    Sport Little something different.....

I can't wait to see this thing with some covering on it. That should be tonight some time right? ;)

Well the old Carf Extra still flies! :fist_pump: It was pretty nice at the field when I first got there. Kind of cold, but no wind, and sunny, so a sweatshirt was all you needed. There were only three of us there today. Just the same Sunday diehards. I had to get the Carf to the field at...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I decided I'm going to take my Carf Extra 330L flying tomorrow for the first time in over a year. I thought I should give it a once over tonight and make sure everything is flight ready. It turns out the clunk line was hard as a rock so I pulled the tank out and replaced the clunk line with Viton.

You and me both brother. I only used a little less than 7 gallons of gas since August of 2014. I'm flying 50cc so it's only about 14 ounces a flight, but still that's not much flying.

I do shop the classifieds at HF still. Some times there are some serious bargains there and on RunRyder.

    IMAC Delro Raven 3.1M build

There are several ways to do it. I personally like a paint product called Mirrachrome from Alsacorp. If you were covering the airplane you could use Flight-Metal.

@pawnshopmike I talked to your uncle Bill the other day. He says you need to buy one of these for your DA70. ;)

We've had some people at our field over the years doing the same thing to practice for the Bald Eagles that show up on the Mississippi not far from our field. Some of them have had some really nice equipment!

I arrived at the field too late yesterday to see any of the FPV quad race yesterday. The course was still set up and I did get to see a few guys run through it. I looks pretty cool. While they were taking the course down I got my charge case out and started to charge some batteries so I could...
