That's a little spooky Kelly. Correct me if I am wrong...but shouldn't a rx have more than 3 volts? Perhaps that's why the servo was getting all sketch on you? Ethanol free 91 octane with Redline 40:1 mix. Why? Because the station is close, the fuel is reasonably priced and not willing to take a chance with ethanol fuels. Here is my reason. Perhaps the fuel we get that is blended here is different from other places, but I can personally witness that...- stangflyer

Yay, oh yay!! The spinner showed up today. So I guess that means I gotta put it on huh? It's not an expensive spinner and not the exact Cessna style, but at the tune of nearly 1 dead Franklin for a Tru-Turn or like, I decided this would suffice. Ok, flaps are all setup and dialed in. According to the manual, elevator trim is 3/8" down trim at full deployment of flaps. I have the flap servo speed slowed down to match the full scale 182 flaps. 3/8" down elevator trim doesn't seem like much, but the elevators on the Cessna are highly...- stangflyer

Thanks guys...it's kind of fun tinkering with this again. Looking forward to putting lots of flights on her this year. Oh yeah, almost forgot. Remember those five pounds I was looking for her to lose? Well, not quite five. She did loose about three though. She is sitting at 17.5 lbs. Not bad...- stangflyer

Well here I am again. What a surprise huh? LOL... I am just almost done with the Cessna. Lets see what I got done today. I started out by making sure the servos in the tail were still all good to go. Twin 70 hour weeks have kept me from getting much accomplished on the Cessna. It looks as though we have rain for the next five days and no flying in this part of Idaho, so I will be attacking the Cessna full force this weekend. Pretty sure it will be done today or later this afternoon.- stangflyer
