After about 4 years and 11-12 gallons with my 71" slick I think my plug cap is worn out on the DLE35. Pretty dirty inside and the spring and rubber cap seem compromised. I put it back together along with a new fuel tank and it will only run at idle for a short amount of time. It could be my new...- AKNick

This is what I had done originally. Maybe I just shouldn't mess with it. It's not an issue to Y it off (as shown in lower pic) and put both ends into the same receiver is it? Its going into a Futaba R6208SB Rx, I presumed it's like a data bus, since futaba says you can put a Y harness to any...- AKNick

Thanks for the info. I would also think that two 1100 A123's would share the load quite well. Might be worth a try because I have a Booma pin flag switch just sitting around. It would solve my question about having enough amps pumping through one pack for the rx and tech aero...- AKNick

Scale 50cc Scratch Build From My Own Design Revisited
Does Graphtech custom make carbon tubes? The last Aluminum tube I replaced with a carbon I had to put a thin layer of epoxy on it and let it turn on my rod dryer. Cool trick in case you need a tighter fit. The rod dryer rotates at 5-9 rpm and leaves an even coat of finish on.- AKNick

LOL I need a red marker to point out what I'm looking out ha ha! Its on the inside of the fuse, on either side supporting the area around and mostly aft of the wing tube. definitely two different types of woven fibers. Not a big deal was just curious.- AKNick

I've been scared :frown: to fly my 73" AJ Laser ever since my two or three 2-3 sec "brown outs"... even though the engine kept running smoothly with no response (kind of nightmare really) - I put that receiver in a cub and it worked fine for multiple flights - so I have a new Rx in the bird but...- AKNick

SO I'm curious what people are using for power on a single or dual A123 with one Rx and a TechAero IBEC for a 35cc 3D plane. I've done a single 2500 A123 to a modified Miracle switch (for the 3 wire version batteries for the balance tap/pwr feed) on a Cub. My concern is will that be enough wire...- AKNick

Cool The I'm going out flying thread 2017
