Pulled the rcgf 21cc twin off the cub and it is on it's way back to VVRC. Might try the VVRC 21cc single instead on this plane. When I took the RCGF 21cc mufflers and plugs off I did a little investigating. . . one of the cylinder that was producing more of an oily mess than the other had some...- AKNick

Thinking about putting this walbro carb on to see if things dramatically change. Have to add the impulse port... don't think it'll be that hard? If not, it's time for a DLE-20 I think. I love this little rcgf 21 but she's breaking my heart.... just a little more TLC and maybe she'll come around...- AKNick

Well well well. I flew the carbon cub again. The engine still doesn't have the power I'd like, tried to die on me a few times... My new MPI servo reverser on the left flap twitches with the engine running... so time to man up and get lager receiver. Another club member came to the field with...- AKNick

I cut myself once on an APC, I was just getting into nitro, first four cycle OS71? I was flipping it through admiring the cute powerplant... that's when it happened (yes not even trying to start it). Crazy, I have always had good service getting parts from them. When ever something was up about my order they always called me promptly. Pretty much everything is out of stock. :( I got my pushrods, wheels, misc tid bits from them. Sad to see this happening.- AKNick

Nice. The V1 had fixed LG. Plane was slippery, would pick up speed in a decent. So approaches were long unless I did a stall turn on the downwind. Drag could be ok, you'll just have to fly it and see! Flapperons did not for for the v1 . Lost too much lift lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- AKNick

I had the version 1 (orange) of this. ''Twas a hot rod. I as an OS 46 with a bisson Pitts muff. It landed pretty hot. Still added a small brick of lead in the nose to get the CG right. I remember being able to to a lumsevuk? with it. I flew the snot out of it until I gave it to another member...- AKNick
