    This was two weekends ago, used to be my old plane. It basically hit full throttle into a tree after a high alpha stall. The model is a 90 size seagull edge 540 with an OS 120ax. Used a grappling hook, after two failed modeler attempts, I gave it a whirl and somehow managed to grapple the branch...

    I haven't got there yet, but planing on both panels, sometimes you'll have to open up the cowling a bit to relieve any additional pressure that cannot be relieved by opening up the lower aft panels. It seems that in that post he had a fairly large opening for the intake and fwd of the exhaust...

    I haven't installed the gear yet. If you get it too close I'd imagine the flexing of the gear might crack the fairing. Too bad it doesn't fit flush...

    Looks like tomorrow may be a flying day! 35 degrees!! Then is going to stay in the 20's all week hmmmm. Good thing I just got some servos in to continue a 60e beast build for an older club member. Would be nice to finish it to free up the hangar space

    Thanks! I think it's the most beautiful place on planet earth... when it's nice out. Unfortunately I get to put up with a lot of cloudy, rainy, nasty days way too often. I think we may have broken the 24 year old annual rainfall record of 85" this year. :veryshocked:

    Not a pretty New Year's Eve for Alaska... Gusts up to 60mph. Just talked to a Fedex pilot who had icing the whole route! Yikes! There's some Radome Rime ice this morning.
