    PAU Canopy bolts

I'm with ya there brother. Sometimes I can be quite anal and this one is a biggie for me. Why?....why cut all those ungodly holes in a fuselage and dirty up a beauty with all that un-needed crap when it's just simply not necessary?

Peak Models 32% Extra 330 SC

I am sorry Kelly. I have tried to keep up with yours, @David Cokley, @Joe Hunt and everyone else's threads. But between this ridiculous job constantly working 300 miles away from home, trying to get the ball rolling on the Yak, I just seem to run out of time. Hit me up before you buy something...

    3D Restoring The Yak

She's not bad. Just a few things that need attention. I'll have her shiny and lookin' new in no time. I finished stripping the fuse yesterday and did find 4 very minor repairs that need fixed. Of all the stringers in that big ole Yak fuse, I discovered only one short stringer in the belly that...

    Pilot 30% Edge 540. Who's Flying it!?

You will absolutely love the 37% center Edge. Everything the 50cc is, and more. Hint: build it tail heavy. You won't notice it in normal flight. But bang dem sticks and she becomes a wild and wicked beast on steroids. I love mine.

New Container Arriving Soon! FREE Falcon Hat or Shirt

Hmmm.....I've been looking for a home for my 3W 70 twin. Since the new version 3 Extra 330sc is adaptable to the PTE 72, I could put my 3dub 70 on this thing easy-peasy. This could be one bad ass little beast. I may just have to order one of these just to have another "BEAT UP" plane. LOL....

    Sport Restoring The Laser

I honestly feel you would be just fine with doweling the firewall. A lot of guys do it and have no problems. I have used dowels in the past with no issues. Just be sure the dowels are hardwood and epoxied in. For a little extra security that won't add any weight so to speak of, you can also...

    Sport Restoring The Laser

It kind of sounds as though your best option is just cut that old "HOLY"...um I mean holie....ummm.....oh crap, you know what I mean.....firewall out and slap in a new undrilled plate. It's not so hard to epoxy dowels in a firewall to change over to a different motor mounting arrangement than...

    3D Restoring The Yak

When I first decided then embarked upon this project, I had (as I mentioned previously) thought that maybe this thread should be with the covering and paint threads. I then realized I would be doing more to it than just a simple recover job. After todays progress, I feel this really is the...

    3D Restoring The Yak

No kidding. I mean, "some" people just have no sense of direction. LOL.... I talked to Gerhard yesterday and today. Just basically to get a little information. He tells me he had one on a 52 pound plane and it pulled it unlimited. He told me that if the Yak comes in at the expected weight, (43...

    3D Restoring The Yak

Tomorrow is the day and it soon will be here. I am going to start with the fuse first. Tomorrow, I will begin the Yak Restore project. Wow, never thought it would take me this long to get around to it. But as they say, all good things come to those that wait patiently right? Just bugs me that it...
