Scale Scale flaps & ailerons for Balsa 1/3 Super Cub
As soon as my glue supplies come I will be starting the construction of my Balsa SC. I have seen different ones reference scale flaps & ailerons and have seen several on youtube with them. I Googled them and came up with nothing. Where are they available from? Dave- Dave1953

Is this the Balsa House glue or something else. I wouldn't think they sell Gorilla glue. You say 4 to 8 oz bottle of Titebond or Gorilla glue and small bottle of polyurethane Gorilla glue, is this right?- Dave1953

I just got my 1/3 scale Balsa USA SC kit today. This will be my first giant scale build and the 1st build for me in about 25 years. Yes, there is a big difference in the cowling of a J-3 Cub and a PA-18 Super Cub. I bought the Balsa Super Cub. If they would include "PA-18" with the Super Cub it would help people understand the difference Techincally a Piper Cub could be a J2, J3, J4 Cub coupe, J-5 Cub Cruiser, PA-11, PA12...- Dave1953

If you are referring to the cowling being oversized the cowl on a real Super Cub does not fit up tight against the "boot cowl" there right below the windshield on each side. Yes, I contacted Don to find out some info about their Cub as opposed to the Balsa Cub and found out that they use a metal fuselage instead but I was under the impression that there's was a PA-18, not a J-3.
