    Mah = lighter plane

I just fly a battery, speedo, and motor. Getting rid of the airframe saved a TON of weight. And, I saved 15% by switching to Geico. :D

    WELL - Wha'cha Get??

Got some Carhartt sweatshirts (much needed for winter working outside), some Tannerite, a nice new Kershaw, and wife bought me a PS4. I got her a pristine 04 Honda crf150f so we can break bones together. lol

    DLE 35 ra throttle

It's a good idea to do that anyway when buying a used plane. Never know what kind of trouble you might save yourself in the future.

    DLE 35 ra throttle

The carb should have a return spring on it that closes it when there's no servo holding it open.

    DLE 35 ra throttle

You could take the engine off, make sure the throttle is closed, then re mount it. Mount your throttle linkage to the carb in the closed position, and set your servo endpoint to match the linkage. Pull the throttle open by hand until it is wide open (you'll feel it hit the stop), then make your...

From the beginning. How did you start flying RC?

Funny you say that, my next flying machine was a foam P51. Had I known then what I know now, it probably would have been a little different. Hahaha I had fun with both though, and crashing and rebuilding both only served to set the hooks deeper. I haven't been without a plane or heli since then. :)

From the beginning. How did you start flying RC?

I bought a 450 heli off ebay for my first flying machine. That ended well. :lol2:

For Sale DA150 & Falcon 30x10W cf prop

Potentially parting out my 104 Slick, this engine is still mounted on it. I bought it earlier this year, and put about 2 gal through it. Not sure on the exact age, but from what I've been able to gather, it's around 5 years old. Runs great, includes Slimline mufflers, $650 obo shipped CONUS. The...

For Sale Savox 1270tg w/Spot On arms

I have 8 Savox 1270tg servos for sale, 4 of them have 2" Spot On aluminum arms, the other 4 have 1.5" Spot On arms. I'll take $85 each shipped, or sell the whole lot for $600 shipped. They are currently installed in my 104 Slick, and have around 40 flights on them.

    Geometry and Elevator throw error

If one half isn't flush, then your linkage geometry is off slightly. Try subtrimming that channel to even it up, and adjust your endpoint on the other side to match it.

Getting started in Giant Scale RC---Tools and Supplies

Metric and standard Allen wrenches are probably my most used (and most frequently LOST) tools.

    Bring back the shame!

If someone is upset by a temporary title on a forum, they probably shouldn't be on the internets to begin with... Just sayin'

First Heli Flight In 29 Years

I agree on the bigger birds being easier. I bought an MCPX to play around with, and a little while later picked up a Compass 6HV. It was SO much easier to fly than the MCPX. It died a couple of horrible dumb-thumb deaths in a year or so, and I sold it. I'll have another heli before too long though.
