I have always been a proponent of the KISS principle. I have never used any powerboxes or similar in any of my planes. I have always used the receiver to handle all the power consumption of any plane from .40 sized to my 170cc 43% planes. With that being said, I started using IBEC's in 2012...- Torquerolljoe

3D Covering???
I make a mix of 1/3 91% rubbing alcohol, 2/3 water and 2-3 drops of Dawn or baby soap to a spray bottle. This formula acts just like Rapid Tac that you can buy for $8 a bottle. If it seems to not be slippery enough, I add an extra drop or two of soap. Been using this formula for years on...- Torquerolljoe
