Thanks, the 60 MXS 91 Extra and Stinger 90 are still in boxes. Boys gotta do some buildin! The E Flite T34 PTS was donated to the club as a trainer by Matt (Enterprise). It's a great intro plane at fly ins. Thanks again Matt.

Not to confuse but here a couple more solutions. Basement- towel Rod and modified and taped hangars. Good up to 60" balsa. Foamies on pipe. Garage- T hangar from HD or Lowes, 78" extra hangs on strap slings with pipe insulation. 60" has room on top. Building 60" MXS. Should fit on opposite side...

If you are still troubled by it. Try a little bit of Welders or Foam tack at the edge of the Rx/ servo connection point. Definitely zip tie the slack everywhere. Slack and slip in your wires are easily susceptible to vibration. You'd be shocked how much vibration thee is in there. I'm going to...

No, do we count? I must be "mega" or close. According to my wife I talk too much!

    3DHS and Extreme Flight Merger?

Also, well put. However not sure I agree with this part: "EF would fill out the smaller size classes, and 3DHS would bolster the giant scale offerings." The indicators certainly can point to a potential merger and I too hope the benefits and positive aspects of both companies are synergized...

    New to 3D

Oh, there will be a "next one" silly. Just a suggestion I learned this past year. Saw it at Toledo show last year. Have fun.

Guys try Foam Tac also. Used Welders a lot but Foam Tac stays more flexible and doesn't discolor. Made by Beacon. Available at several sources.

    New to 3D

Welcome to the forum Bill and welcome back to a changed and exciting hobby. I'm a re- entrant as well (4 years in now and thoroughly addicted!). Nice planes. Hope there are a few EPP foamies in the hangar along with a sim. Those two things alone can exponentially (ha, Tx pun!) increase your 3 D...

    Aj aircraft 93,73,56 laser

Second choice. Have one piped in an EF 78 and it has been great. I did all the prelim: reed, bowman. It's been flawless.

Tim great video. Puts a whole new meaning to "a fun day at the beach!" Is that Oregon? Awesome backdrop. Great lighting on the dusk shot. Are you running a DA 35 w Pitts muffler on that? Looks Like fun. Thanks for sharing.

Tim Pastor from RedwingRC shows us how to repair any plane in 3 easy steps!

Tim Pastor, funny. Heard from Matt tonight. He shared pics of your servo test display- awesome. Guess you took the testing conversation last year seriously. The split cowl idea looks very nice also. 2 in 1 wings also innovative. Lots of interesting stuff from Redwing. Well done and Good luck.

Good to hear it was salvageable! Don't go nuts trying to figure it out. Could have been all those things or a combination of them. Rock on! Next time video of that "spin cycle" KE spin. Maybe call it a "Maytag" since the repair man had to come out!

Nate, your idea sounds sound to me. That is a pretty well wrapped KE spin. Was it toward the tail end of the flight? Little fuel in the tank? Without a little "little black box" it's hard to know. No NTSB report to reference either. I would sleep better with your explanation. However, as our...

+1 for sure. I always strongly recommend sim, foamie, EF 60" (Edge, Laser or Extra) low rates to start (cortex makes it all the better if you have the $- props to Yellowjacket!). Of course a friend/ instructor on a buddy box never hurts (to avoid splinters those first few flights). This will...

Nate. Good explanation! And I like the short answer from Alan- "electronic is better than mechanical". Max electronic to get max throw with min arm length to preserve max torque.
