    The Inferno

Thought it was time for a little update. Though the Inferno is intended as a indoor, depron alternative, I have been using mine as a 3D "driveway flyer". In the summer, there is often a window of time, either just after sunrise, or just before sunset, when the winds die to near zero. I have...

CG and trim fine tuning usually take me a dozen or more flights - just tuning it all in just right. Sounds like you may be on a similar path - no worries - just take your time and make it perfect for you

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

OK, look at the build log at the very beginning of this thread - look for the phrase "optional reinforcements" I think the term "Blender mod" was in the build instructions for the Inferno - but I could be mistaken . Concepts and goals are identical. If I am using the wrong terms - perhaps one...

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

I always assumed it was called a blender mod because it would keep the airframe intact even in the most violent of maneuvers

reinforcements of key stress points with blemderm tape and welders cement. I first learned about it by reviewing the build logs on this forum - It was one of the Twisted Hobbies planes - might have even been the Laser build. Let me poke around a bit - I might be able to point you directly there

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

Some advice from one who has been where you are going: Apply the "blender mods" now, not later. Take your time to get the CG just right . Both are in the category of "wish I had done that" Flying my Laser this morning - predict you will be smiling soon

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

Actually, we are all like that - it has to do with how human minds work - you can probably only think about one major thing and a couple of minor things at any one time - everything else has to be intuitive and nearly automatic or you will not keep up. The challenge is to build your skills from...

Twisted Hobbys Crack Laser, with a few new build tips

Might want to put the CG a bit more toward the nose by 1/4 inch or so until you are fully comfortable. You can always move it back later
