BTW - Nice Pilot figure dth7 I was reacting to "straight and level" tranistioning to 3d Yoda - I realize giving advice to "Yoda" is probably a bit presumptuous

    New Here? Introduce yourself!

I have experience with both the Addiction and the Addiction X. I like them both, but would reccommend that if you are just transitioning into 3D, you do most of you learning on something more durable - My personal reccomnedation for that is a Twisted Hobbies Laser Lite with the stock power and...

    32" MXS-C! Backyard insanity!

Yep - I'd buy one of those too. I am not sure I am as bold as you are AK - One flutter on a full throttle downline would probably be enough for me ;-)

    The 3DRCForums -Discuss Anything Thread-

Right before sunset. Full moon rising towards east. Flying knife edge loops "around the moon" with the plane lit up by the low angle light of the sunset. No one there but me Pretty memorable

FAA 2014-0396- interpretation of new rule for Model Aircraft

Check your email, looks like the AMA is giving us all guidance on how to get the results we want by responding in unison.

FAA 2014-0396- interpretation of new rule for Model Aircraft

Can we persuade both regulators and legislators that they NEED responsible hobbyists who abide by AMA rules as the positive example for all the crazies who do dumb things? We are the community the that is the SOLUTION , not the problem. They need us to avoid being in the impossible enforcement...

I have both the red one and the green one I bought some of the new 45C 1s batteries - seems to deliver just that little bit of extra power that makes hovering possible past the first minute of flight. your mileage may vary - but it works for me

Beautiful calm morning - put 6 batteries thru my inferno on the front driveway - tight space but fun flying - almost like indoors except it was against the blue sky.

    32" MXS-C! Backyard insanity!

Thanks Cody does lots of stuff that I can't do - maybe someday in this life or the next. Value your initial impressions - I love my Laser too. Suspecting that some of the things you mention in the MSX-C may be "tuning" items that will come your way with a few more flights . Got to admit...

The New Sport Pilot's Guide To 3D

This thread was very helpful to me as I tried to transition to XA/3D I came across some complimentary video links - that seem to be in line with Doc's very solid advice. Thought I'd put them here as additional resources. Let me know what you think? Three videos that explain and...

    New Here? Introduce yourself!

If I look at mine in terms of cents per flight, they are the least expensive planes I have ever owned. Divide the cost by the " grin factor" and you get the real value Just my opinion - draw your own conclusions

    New Here? Introduce yourself!

TH is a great way to go - I have 4 of them. Dig through the build logs on this site to find the "blender mods" - a technique using Blenderm tape and Welders cement to strentghten the spot most likely to break. It will make a huge difference in the durability of the airframe, and adds near zero...

    The Knife Edge Spin

Great info, been working on my skills with this as the knowledge benchmark. Side note: As I finally began to find the "sweet spot" on my practice profile foamie, I learned that the traditional "thru hole" battery hold down method is insufficent. A loud "thwok" sound was my battery...
