+1 billion. Gary, I think a team T shirt for Jacob to wear on the flight line with this on the back under 3DRCFORUMS.COM would be great! Modesty is nice I know but a little sarcasm and East Coast "in your face" gets the crowd going too! Just sayin.

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

Maybe I'll mount it with the stock muffler and fly it in. I have an old cowl to use and a brand new one for the piped version. Might as well get used to the airframe and have some fun with it.

Maybe I'll beat you to it. I am trying to finish up mine. Need to break in the engine then pipe it. We were thinking better to break it in a little on the stick muffler on a stand before tuning a pipe at high rpms. Any opinions anyone? It's a DLE 35 RA

Thanks Gary! Jacob feel free to boast a little. No one here will question it.

78 or larger MXS? Any rumors? I've been getting really inspired by Rob Holland and I think a big MXS may have to be on my wish list.

Discussion How to Land a 3D airplane

Great article, most overlooked maneuver in RC flying- take a look at "Top Gun" (I use the term loosely, it really should be called "Top Builder" since they all are master craftsmen) from 2009. I think I saw about 3 out of 30 or so clips of absolutely beautiful scale airplanes using a rudder on...

"How am i supposed to get better at flying when im stuck in school 7 hours a day!!!" Ok Jacob I think it is officially time to change this quote kid! Was that your mom with the appropriate quote? "Jacob, that was frigging awesome!" Cause it was. I hope I'm never unlucky enough to have to count...

    78'' Extra

Sorry to hear that. Too bad they didn't stand behind what they sell. Is there a way to go direct to OS? Also curious to know what happened? Cody and I did the reed valve mod and the Bowman ring on the DLE 35. Still waiting on header. I think Cody is going to post the mods. We took pics as we did...

What do you guys want videos of?

That's fine. I think it would be a worthwhile few minutes of video that will serve many a great service. Looking forward to seeing what you put together.

Nice wheel landing on top of all the rest of course. Gotta get some dual on those riffle rollers and flip outs! BTW. "Everyone needs a 104..." You know where I live, just drop one off anytime. I'll leave the garage open. Lol

Well, good entertainment value for sure. Did said wing contact the ground before exploding or just fail (very rare!)

What do you guys want videos of?

Hey Cody, I'm going to repeat a request that the first vid have a couple minutes on proper setup. You have taught me the critical benefit of setup (cg checks, diff, mixes, etc) and I have tried to pass it along. I think everyone would appreciate a review/ lesson on the subject. Along the lines...

    78'' Extra

Thanks, i like it too. Can't take credit. The guy I bought it from did that with a "fog" of black paint. I'm hoping I can tell the IMAC judges "oh, the pilot is in there but he's very sensitive to sun" and save a 1% deduction!!!
