    Cold Weather Flying Tips

Yes Dubros. 60 size for 48" edge, park flyer for foam Yak. Park flyers mod with wheel collars inside the plastic and cf "plates" to extend stops to keep from rotating. 60s are fine but a little heavy. May shave them down as mentioned above. +1 on Reacher10. Very easy to deal with w prompt...

    Cold Weather Flying Tips

I used DuBro 60 size on my 48" Edge and park flyers on my Tech Ine Yak foamie. I modded the anti rotation on the park flyers but adding a cf "plate" to extend the stop. The 60 size seemed much better but as you said heavy. My performance almost seemed better. I think it was the forward shift in...

    Cold Weather Flying Tips

First time flying off snow after getting back in the hobby this past year. Having a blast. I invested in a Tx glove from Reacher10 at RCG- http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1143460&highlight=reacher10 Not the cheapest out there but he's really nice, will customize to your liking...

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

I have 4 6 cell 3300s and I figure if I can get 1 or two 1-2C charges out of those on a parallel board that will be a good day.

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

Thanks much. That helps. I figured a generator that would give me more power than the battery would be quite a bit. Think I'll try the deep cycle first. Seems to work for many. I have 4 6cells now so that should be good to work with. Should be able to charge those a few times off a battery at...

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

Field power dilemma- I have a 306b and a 24+ power supply and am debating on a field power source- deep cycle battery (12V) or a small generator (24 V output using the 24+ power supply and the 110v from the gen). Anyone have any advise on this. I figure I'll drop at least $75-100 on a good deep...

Question? iCharger 306b vs. 3010b question

Just got the 306B and the 24+PSU. Going for a deep cycle batt to run the icharger at the field. With the para board should be able to "cook" several 6S 3300s at a time while hucking the 48" Edge with 3S packs that will charge real fast with the icharger. It becomes a ballet with all the charging.

Yippee! Charging The Lithium Polymer Beast

Ok Jeremy, Just pulled the trigger on a charging setup: 24+ PSU from you and an iCharger 306B w para board. I also have 2 AC680s and parallel boards and cords for all. Ready to push some Amps! Only thing missing is a "field" supply. Don't have 110 or a generator (Cody, what's up with that...

48" Edge 540 Building, Flying, and Questions

Watched your great video and answered my own question re: 4S setup- If it aint broke don't fix it. As you demonstrated quite well! The 3s setup with the Omega 130 is perfectly adequate and then some for the 48" edge. Thanks for the video.

    Christmas!

Happy Holidays/ Merry Christmas all. You mentioned Friday. So there I was in the office about to get one last flight on the sim while my wife was downstairs wrapping. Lights out (power failure) at 0001 ( no ****!- apologies for the expletive! thanks for the "beep"). Wife in the dark calls up and...

    Closed.

Holy what the! Anthony. I need a program just to keep up. Haven't done much with helis other than indoor fun but that is simply amazing! I'll have to mess around on the sim. As if I need to start collecting helicopters now! Not. I'll just enjoy watching talented young men like yourself. Add a...

    Team 3DRCF Jacob "3dbandit" Pollak

Ah, yeah that's exactly what we are trying to avoid! The "old timers" and circle flyers are not big fans of midairs. That's what some of them think 3 D is all about- mayhem an chaos. We know its not. Too bad you can't convert some of the crazy park flyers into more order. They would lose fewer...

Would love to see someone fill this one in to include rolling loops and specifically controlling the flight path in the roller. Thanks guys
