    I'm 27 and my dad still makes me fly his models because he has these big scale things that he likes to see fly but his skills haven't progressed just yet. Giant scale staggerwings take up a lot of room. Especially if I want to haul my gasser or my Vyper Bype or well... Anything for that matter...

    I'm debating coming. Either here or IRCHA. Here because I have one heli and at least three. 3D planes. Plus I'm looking to have someone really show me how to open my Byper up and meanwhile on the IRCHA side. I only have a beater 450 that's broken in my shop more often than not.

    Thanks for the tip. My LHS had one of those Eflite 1020 kv 480 motors. I went ahead and grabbed it since 3DHS listed it as one of the motors. The mount doesn't line up with the holes though. Is it worth plugging them and redrilling or should I just order another omega 72g and not mess with the...

    I used 11x5.5 for a bit too but I preferred the feel of the 12x6 if that makes sense. My LHS regularly stocks 12x6 but I always had to have them order me 11x5.5 too. So it was a convenience thing as well.

    My omega 72g for this plane burned out yesterday. I had the 12x6 prop on with a 2200 mah battery and my timing was set to 20 degrees. Should I run another omega or maybe the hacker? Were my settings maybe too aggressive?

    40" EPP Edge 540 Building, Flying, and Questions

    Use a 1500 mah MAX and I used a small piece of industrial strength Velcro. It's such a tight fit that you shouldn't need much more than that.
