The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Mounted the ZDZ-180 on the Red 330LX. Also mounted the throttle and choke servo trays, glued in the fuel tank tray and the rails for the plate to block off the carb area from the rest of the fuse :) 6S lipos make great weights for keeping things in place until the epoxy cures!

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

I have couple of small electrics, Vyper Bype and a Mini-Banshee. They are fun but, I don't see myself getting out of the 40% 330LX's that I have any time soon :-) They are much more fun to fly.

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Maidened the Mini-Banshee tonight. It was a little breazy but, the plane flew quite well. It is very sensitive to the controls :) Loves to do snaps both positive and negative. Landings are a piece of cake! Not much of a 3D person so I can't give a real perspective there, sorry. I was alone so...

The I'm going out flying thread 2016

Took this new to me plane out today. Picked it up Saturday at a fun fly and put it in the air this afternoon :) The first flight was about as hair raising as they can get. I didn't bother to check the cg because I was using the same size batteries as the previous owner and had it where he had...

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Finished the major parts of the Mini-Banshee tonight. Only thing left is to balance it and go fly! Will let you know how it goes when I get a chance to fly it :) I did pick up a Vyper Bipe yesterday and got it put together and flown today.

    News Winggate Jet Rally 11-12-2016

Took some pictures at the South Grand Lake Regional Airport in Ketchum, OK yesterday at the Winggate Jet Rally. This was the first event of this type held at the airport and had a pretty good turnout of spectators and pilots. Definitely looking forward to the next one!

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I worked on the Mini-Banshee tonight. Almost done with it. Just need to add the control horns and electronics then it will be time for fun. I would love to upload a picture but, the system seems to be having problems at this time. Wish we had the old stable system back :(

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

I probably should have been assembling my Mini Banshee that showed up today but, the 330 was looking lonely so I decided to fit the headers and Proflows on it. Actually went pretty easy.
