    Done it my fair share of times. Its the worst if you hit it with kicker not knowing its on your skin as it flashes a lot faster.

    First time I have glued any balsa together in at least six months. Felt good. Now to actually finish this plane and get it to its actual owner.

    We had a mid air a couple years ago and didn’t know for sure till they landed. We all knew it looked close but did see anything blow apart or hear anything. The two guys landed and one of them had a divit in the top of the wing along with tire marks where the other guy baciallg did a touch n go.

    I generally build the fuse and tail surfaces first. When building the wing though if I have the room I build it as one piece and separate after. First thing I do is grab the root ribs and cut spacer blocks the thickness of the fuse to go between them just using small spring clamps to hold it all...

    Will post better pics when I have a chance to get them but for now a quick show of my new toy. Cameras on these things are amazing. Plan to take it up to about 150ish feet and park it over our heads while my buddy and I are flying DLG’s. Should provide a pretty cool perspective of the launch...

    Lol I get ya there. I’ve barely scraped by with C’s in these classes and they are pointless for what I do for a living. Algebra on the other hand I use a good bit in the electrical field.

    If I could come across an old kraft radio I would do the same thing with it using my x9d since I just upgraded to the x9 lite.

    Swapped out the motor and prop on my multiplex weekender last night. Stock 3 blade sucked and the motor was so low of a KV that to get what I wanted on 3S would have ended up with like a 15” prop that would have looked weird and probably had clearance issues. Now to find a new spinner for it
