A clipped wing Cub won't float like a full span Cub. Looks great though.

It has to set overnight and then the finishing touches . Used JB weld to attach. Need to make the exhaust exit and tail pipe and trim the DLE exhaust stacks back flush with the bottom of cowl

Thanks again. It's a spring I used to mimic a smoke fluid injection line. Don't know if I really like it but I saw one as a kid at an air show at Wright Patterson field in Ohio. Still need to work the underside of the fuse and wing but it is going hang for a bit. Hope to get it out and see how it flies with the Aura8 and sealed wing.

Just a update the thread is not dead. Two reasons it is on hold first it is flying season and need to buy a 120 size engine for the plane to finish the cowl. This will most likely continue in the fall or when I get the engine.

Do you gentlemen know what a clean Da-120 second hand is going for now days. Is there anything I should watch out for a certain serial number or age.

The kit comes in two boxes one smaller one with all the wood and bigger one with the cowl and canopy with a few wood parts in the bottom.
The first picture is the drawings all cut up and taped together so that can be used to build a plane. The following pictures are the boxes opened for the first time and having a look. And the last picture is of the picture on the big box of the plane.

Awesome, that was the very first giant scale airplane I built , same kit, I really liked it a beautiful flying airplane
