Just been doing small items at the moment making some small adjustments to the trailing edges of the two wings so that they all line up nicely straight and square.
Also finished off the anti rotation pins for the wing and glued them in. And also fixed many small bents that have been made during the building, unfortunately that is an ongoing job until covering starts.
Ordered a large roll of Ultracote white in early December last year and it is still on back order. Hopefully it shows up before February.

Orange, blue and white. Still had some blue and Orange left hopefully enough to cover the plane. You can only get the larger rolls in a few colours. But I was out of white. Still not sure how it is going look but the only thing I do know is it will be some combination of orange, blue and white.
I believe but could be wrong but the larger rolls are only available in five or six colours.

Keep a spray bottle with water in it ready snoops, the small dents and sometime the larger dents will come out of balsa with a little spray of water.

Just working my way through small jobs until it is ready for covering. This is the throttle setup, no slop and direct, also got one of the new JR servos that are programable makes life so much easier, you can program servo angle, off set and many more controls.
With this servo it is so easy to get the 50% / 50% setup.

Preparing the servos and trying to find the correct arms and see what works. Have to keep telling my myself that this is a Scale Extra and not a 3D plane. Will be setting it up for around 25 degrees on the ailerons, 30 degrees on the elevator and as much as I can get out of the rudder.

Will be trying to get the CG to work with a pull- pull system. I know the servo in the back with a push/pull setup is easy and a solid setup but when using 500 plus oz-inch servo trying to push the hinges apart not good. Hopefully I can get the pull/pull to work.

Got the elevator servo figure out this setup should do the job. All 3mm hardware and the elevator stud is 8-32. Just have to do the other side and the elevators should be done.
