I found /use some inner wheel fairings at world models for their 28% extra, for scale touch but you have to buy full set pants/ hardware etc. Kinda wasteful, , and spendy,and a lil too small. anyone know where to buy them solo or has made their own?

Can barely see em on this pic, not scale size but does good job of covering the hardware on the pants. Gotta be a supplier somewhere does em right, right?

Thanks Brian. Interesting...but Mike's Extra didn't have the fairings, so I'm just going for the semi-scale look down there. Although I do have another tidbit already done, which I'll get post soon.

Landing light anyone? OK, I know this is not scale, but I couldn't resist the urge to install one of Electrodynamics super bright daylight visible lights. It has a very bright LED surrounded by a plastic Fresnel lens and lives up to it name!
Since my "carb air inlet" isn't really functional, I made up a mount for it in the tube, so it sits behind the mesh grill. Not really noticeable until it's turn ON...via the programmable switch plugged into the Rx.

Jtec Extra 300cs 3.1m nav lights:

Friend of mine did this to his Jtec, flies IMAC with it and dominates every class so far. Looks more than bad azz on landing. Not alot of extras have nav lights but would be sick .huge wow factor
His dad Phill actually made the light covers from vacuum molding and built the relays/ board for blinking action
