First time out on its feet at our annual fun fly event, people in the photo are my grand kids and my daughter, the old fart is me.
Next week will be doing some engine runs, and taxi test at our field , then have plenty of time to tweak anything need for the test flight which will happen in October

I am so sorry I have not kept up to speed. I see lots of progress. You know... I may not be rated top in the world. But I'm a pretty darn good pilot. Want me to maiden it? You know I'd get on the first plane over to get my hands on that beauty. Love it. Keep us posted please.

You know I was kidding right? Lol... I wouldn't touch the bound radio to that plane for 25,000 dollars. Oh I'll maiden anything with wings. But a work of art is a whole different kind of "uh, not me"! Lol. Will anxiously be awaiting the maiden video.

Sometimes this coming week will run the engine and do some taxi test, and if everything good, a bit of high speed test, but no flying at our field , although its long enough the approach at both ends have tall trees , so flying will be done at a private airfield for full size aircrafts, , the runway is grass at 3000 ft with no obstruction on the approach on both sides.

Now that I've seen it assembled.....WOW.....Definitely a 50center! Looks great . Have you got the cowl finished ? Are the first test flights going to be cowl off?

thanks yes she is big, as for the cowling yes Its all finished and fitted, but the reason its not on is for the first running of the engine and quit access to everything under the hood. but it will be on for the first flight for sure
