Ryan, you going 'lecky on the MXS? Gas version is likely a year out

That's what I'm afraid of. And why I think resistance is futile on the 78" Extra :)
The next container comes to EF in about a week I think. I'm fairly sure my resolve will have fully weakened by then :D

Awesome flight! Your flow between maneuvers is excellent, no dead time, and there were some sweet combo's thrown in, it looked fantastic! I loved the ke spin/rolling spiraling staircase especially, I've been meaning to try that

Woohoo! Came down to one poorly placed spin in the sun in my first flight. Great time, great group of guys and gals, great venue, great plane (thanks Gary! sorry you are "stuck" right! with the 91, if you get bored you know where I am!) and also I had a GREAT caller for the majority of my flights, some kid, Cody Wo something (lots of consonants)! For the other flight one of his junior proteges- Steve the Knife- thanks buddy.
Cody- thanks a million, it was a blast and watching you wring the snot out of that 104 in freestyle then watching your other student in the McCormack family make his AW scream for mercy was a well spent 8 minutes of freestyle judging- awesome.
Hey Ryan, sorry man but I'm one more- it's a 78 love fest, get a ticket!

Back to the thread business- I'm piping the DLE 35 tomorrow, need one clamp. We're starting with the 30CF pipe, if that's not good enough we'll go with the 40. I'm not a tinkerer so I am optimistic for great performance from the 30.
Stats on the stock muffler and a Hover 20x6 CF prop after about 2 gal of air cooled penzoil mixed with ethanol free gas:

reliable low idle- 1700 rpm
high idle-2180
mid stick- 6400
Full throttle static- 7920

Starts- choke, 1-2 flips, pop. choke off- 1-2 flips and go all at high idle setting (on a switch mix).

Gary's guess with the pipe is 8800. Gary for the beer I'm saying 8700. Closest without going over. Although I'll happily buy you a beer for the loss!:veryshocked: more power!
Congrats! Sounds like you had a lot of fun!
