Exact same thing.

Also, in Ohio currently the boating season is June 15th - Sept 1 as winter lasts that long and then it seems to start again i Sept.

We used to have spring and summer, now we just have winter... winter.. Summer for like a blink and then more winter... It SUX.

Sleepy, that is about what Nebraska is like, you just have to suck it up and wear a wetsuit when its cold! Right now the water temps around here are 89-92* though and I am almost ready for the cooler water! We get out on the water late April-May and through about October. I don't like heating my un-insulated garage, otherwise we would be out slightly longer in the year with GOOD wetsuits. This winter, I am installing a heater and maybe a hot water shower in the boat to precharge wetsuits and extend the season out a little more.

Boating would be my second favorite hobby...Second to duning....Love RC but it gets tough to build and maintain with a little one running around that requires your constant attention...Currently have three boats. A 19' Cheyanne Drag tunnel jet, a Tall Deck 28 Daytona with a single 1000HP on pump fuel, a 38 Powerquest with twin VOLVO 500's.

My number one hobby is my boat!! Hence my screen name as well. I have a 2006 Sky Supreme. It's hard some days when it's sunny and calm.........go fly or hit the water. Water usually wins!!! I used to wakeboard everyday in high school but had to cut back due to injuries. I am digging the wake surfing now. Much easier on your body.

Yea surfing is where its at. After a torn ACL doing a backroll, I have started surfing a ton more. Plus you can surf later in the day when the water gets nasty

I have really been wanting to try wake surfing. The boat I have now doesn't throw nearly enough wake though. Plus it's an outboard so wouldn't want to get that close to the transom anyway.
