It's a numbers game. Get one number wrong and your in the red for the rest of your life. LOL.... Staying tuned bro.
I think we figured out where it went wrong, a sizing issue between two images. He says he will have some new one's drawn by mid week. But instead of sending them to the cutter they will come to me in the form of a PDF, I'll print them, and then see if the print matches my projected image. If they fit relatively close they will go to the cutter. I have also inquired in a few other directions, in regards to getting something scaled from plans, so might have an alternative if these don't work out. I am confident they will but best to have a back-up plan.

Printing from a PDF is never to scale trust me I know. You need to go to the print shop and do some prints and check the scale and then do the math for a percentage change. The only time it is to scale is when you print directly from the cad file. PDF also do not keep the X and Y coordinates scaled.

I know I said PDF but it will be in the cad format, the print shop can open and print it, or so I thought.

I have the formers in paper form and have compared them to my images, appears to be spot on. We did change a few things, removed one former, rearranged the stringer placement to more of the scale position, added a stringer slot on the bottom outside corner, and the two main formers at the cabane/gear area will be 1/4 ply instead of 1/8. These changes are not only for more scale, but a stronger nose area where the top and bottom wings mount, the gear mount, and the engine tugs on.
I only took this one picture showing the width lines up with my lines.
When I picked the paper up I rolled it out and knew instantly it was correct. I have built enough pitts the shapes are burnt in my head. I thought the others were off but figured I could fix them but there was just to much difference.
As soon as Andreas can get some new one's I will start building it again!!!!
