How cool is this 2 caps being built at the same time. Let's start a cap revolution!

I am not going to do a snorkel on mine. I have done a couple in the past on other planes and did not really like them. That is just my preference.

A Cap.. that is an interesting choice. Subbed! After you Cad draw the plane, how to you actually cut all the wood parts?

Laser and CNC....the only way to fly!!!

Got to the shop this AM and knocked down and shaped with a block and some 80 grit paper. Applied some more filler to the bottom and drying now.

The top needs a little face-lift, or shall we say chop. I knocked about 1/4" off the nose to give it a little more flow like the full scale I'm trying to copy. Openings shrink by almost 3/8" are are more scale and more reasonable. Just had to post some pics of this because it looks like hell now, but it will come around......soon.
