Looking good ROLLERMAN. Question: The notches in the squares that you used for clamping. Did they come that way or did you customize them?

Keep up the great work!!

Hello Jason, Thanks, and I customized them myself, they are very easy to cut.

So for the first time since I got the kit, I did not work on it last night, a little bummed about that but I will make up for it this weekend. Looks like a rainy weekend here although I would not mind going out and throwing the Sbach around a bit. My next step is to angle the second fuse side and then I should be able to glue the sockets in place. Thinking about using 5mi epoxy on them. What do you guys think? This will allow me to continue to work on them, or maybe 30mi.

With it being structural, I always opt for 30 min so it has time to penetrate the wood better and gives a little more time for setting it properly. Are you using micro-balloons with the epoxy? Makes for one heck of a strong glue joint.

Thanks for the response Primo. I am going to do some cutting on my rafter squares now. Can't wait to see the rest of your build.

I think I mention a little rain this past weekend, but I was not expecting this. LOL

Hope everyone had a great weekend, so after all my house work and family time, I manage to get some work done on the PRO, I decided to use 3M epoxy on the wing and stab sockets, I figure why rush it. (Do it once do it right!!!!!) Since I spent so much time setting up the fuse sides in place I decided to glue the sockets while the sides were on the bench in their proper place or very close to it. Once I was happy with the setup, it was time to glue them in place. I follow pretty much the same procedure for the stab socket making sure it runs parallel to the wing tube. The pictures will explain this better.
