IMAC Carden Pro 124 Build, My Dream Plane

ROLLERMAN

With the fin in place and the TE done it was time to start adding on the bottom decks and turtle deck. Sorry but I failed to take pictures of the process. After completing the decks I started on the hatch, THAT!! Is a ton of work. Gota have some kind of plan. On the 118 I built I caught hell adding the recess on the outside part of the frame after I had it all glue together, on this one, I used my Dremel to add the recess.

So, just as I did on the stabs, I added some hard points to the side of the fuse where the canopy screws are located.

I used the same set up on the 118 and I never had one come loose and that was without using any blue locktite. I do believe they hold better.

Now that I have the hatch frame completed, I can line up the canopy and trim it. I also worked on the dash panel, I added more detail to it, and this was fun to do.

Hey guys I have a question. I want to paint the inside of the hatch and I don't want the grain showing on the wood. Recomendetions would be great. I saw where Trev in Canada uses Eze-Kote. Was wonering if there is anything else I could use from like Home Depo or Lowes.

Thanks in advance.
