Is the Kolm the same as the Valach in you have to order the one for a starter, the front end is different for a starter. I am sure you conversed with Gotz about that as well as the long and short version. After lovingly and "respectfully" playing with my buddies 240 (4) cylinder, I knew in my heart I "needed" a Kolm. I also knew one day I would just have to bite the bullet, swallow hard and make the call. And now, I realize it wasn't so hard to make the call after all. Just means I won't be buying any more planes, bad ass red heads, servos, graphics, covering, props, spinners, fuel tanks, batteries, Pepsi, cheeseburgers, groceries, little dog doggie food, nights out on the town, (like I even still do that sort of thing-lol), and many other assorted lifes pleasures for a veeeerrrryyy loooonnng time. Lol. But worth it in the long run. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Still have to decide if I'm going to order the factory starter. I highly doubt a few ounces will make or break the ability of that beautiful engine to yank that Mustang around like a rag doll.
Yeah, love my dubs! But just tell me, and make me believe you wouldn't cheat on a red head to have this sexy blonde?

There is also the scale engine support I need to consider. Makes mounting these beasts a breeze. Plus, which fuel pump to buy. My friend is using the new programmable pump on his Kolm, Valach and Moki's. Spools up with the throttle advancement. Lots to consider, but the biggest bite is now taken. Hope I can swallow it. Lol
Yeah, no way out now. LolYou broke anyway so you might as well get the starter. It just finishes of the plane. You cannot go cheap now.
Honestly I do not know. I did not get the chance to talk to him. Only his wife. She said she would have him call me back. However, my understanding is he just got back from surgery. So I am sure it will take him a while to get caught up. He was on the line to Germany when I called. If I remember correctly though, there is a difference in the case. So I will wait to talk to him before I make the call of with starter or without. Only thing is, I may have to wait if I get the one with the starter. My understanding is the motors are custom built and could be at least six weeks. Oh well, waited this long right? Either way, a Kolm will be on its way.Is the Kolm the same as the Valach in you have to order the one for a starter, the front end is different for a starter. It all depends on what you want. The added cool factor of a starter as if the engine is not enough, or "just" a really cool engine that starts extremely easy by hand. As if these engines were in the "just" category.Yeah, no way out now. Lol
