You all are just too kind. Thank you. I am actually feeling much better. One last hurdle to jump. Spoke to my surgeon today. I will see her on the 7th. Hopefully she will schedule the required knife cutting ceremony. Get this nasty thing out of me. I'm gonna be fine fellas. Thank you so much.

On another note...I bought a few items to make finishing the Behemoth Stang a lot easier. They will come in handy when I finish the Velox and also the new Meister Scale P47. My son has a complete set and I love his so I thought, why not? I need some updated tools for the plane builds.

And of course, a little proof the Monster P51 is actually back on the build table. Here ya go fellas.

This is actually a little work I accomplished this past weekend. I finally have the bottom of the main center section sheeted. In the process of sizing and fitting the gear doors. This is going to be plenty of thought provoking work. LOL.... Oh well, got nothing else rattling around upstairs. Might as well use it for plane building right? Once I have the center section fitted to the fuse, I will finalize the leading edge sheeting. I need to wait until that point so that I can drill through the bolt retention blocks without being obscured with sheeting.

Well, a little progress this weekend on the big Don Smith Mustang. I started "truing" up the wing saddle and test fitting the center section of the wing to the fuse. Fits ok, but definitely needed some sanding on the three formers that make up the wing saddle cradle. But I think I have it pretty close now. Next I will have to set the wing at 1 degree positive incidence. Once I have that set, I can set the wing bolt blocks. Made of hard wood, they will be epoxied on the top side of the saddle cradle formers. Thus when the wing bolts are installed and pull the wing to the fuse saddle, it will pull against the entire length of the saddle cradle. Lots of construction to still get done. One day at a time.... LOL
