Anyone seen any advertisements on sales or free shipping at EF for Christmas? I've checked the website but havn't seen anything yet. :-(

Unfortunately EF doesn't do sales very often BUT if you want a good deal just get the 64'' MXS for $259.95+shipping. The power combo is SICK and a good price for the performance. It's a lot of airplane for the price and only $20 more than a 51'' Slick for the airframe, THAT is a deal. EF gives a lot of bang for your buck. The 60'' planes are already pretty inexpensive for what they are. The 48'' planes are a little higher priced compared to other brands but the perform more like they 51 than the 46-48s.

The deal is the same year around for the power system combo and airframe. It is a great deal anytime you are in the market for a new plane. These planes are very durable as well. A bud was flying a 48" MXS today- smacked an SFG on the ground hard, doing something- while half-way through a pack. He landed the plane....thought nothing was wrong, then flew the rest of the battery. When his timer went off, he landed....the aileron was completely broken, as was 3" of the wing (at the back 1/2)....

He flew 3 more packs with the plane in that condition (outer 1/3 of the aileron broken, outer 1/4 of the wing broken)....pounded the airframe...and all it took was 3 clicks of aileron trim for the thing to fly straight. No joke- it happened this a.m.- I have video.

Moral of the story- tough, durable and well made aircraft.

My dad has some sheep on his farm in Sweden and some of them have the weirdest voices. It's hilarious, actually!
