Terry would you please share your technique for applying your trim covering above. Is the larger piece on the right going over covering or do you trim the white off first?

I was debating that same thing. I figured that the weight savings to remove the white base covering is only about .1 oz to both wings combined so I'll probably keep it easy and apply right over the white. I'll be starting covering tonight, probably finish tomorrow so I'll take pics and maybe a little time lapse vid to go with if you want.

Sanded, hinged, servo box and wire chase done. Ailerons cored, final sanded and home for covering. I'll be covering the new 93" EF Extra and the 90" EF Edge wings at the same time over the next few evenings.

Looking kinda boring so far but got the tedious task of covering all the end caps and inside corners done on the new foam wings for the Edge and Extra. The tail surfaces are covered with base colors on the Edge. I'll do some colors to compliment the wings, but first I need to get the wings done so I can get a visual. Will work on that more tomorrow night.

Had a covering fest all nighter last night. Getting really close to build-overload so I wanted to hammer through these wings so I'm ready to actually assemble some ARF's. I have four aerobatic planes and one warbird to get done and Spring will be here soon!!!!!!!

The Extra wings came out super cool in the stock scheme with foam cores and quad ailerons......this aught to get some curious looks this summer. I need to make some SFG's yet but that can wait for a rainy day.

The Edge wings also came out good. I wanted a subtle scheme that would compliment the Extra but still look like an Edge. Didn't want to use any schemes from my "kit ideas" folder so hope this works. Couple of stickers still coming for it from B&E.
