I need to tighten up, had no idea you were doing folding wings. :yesss:

Well its scale so I have to LOL I just hope I didn't bite more then I can chew, it is quite complicated , but hey , isolation, retired, living alone, I have the time, a lot of the important parts for the folding mechanism I am designing and 3D printing for proof of concept, once I am satisfied, then on the the metal

Nice to see you kept the build thread going Roger. Facebook has decimated forums which I don't understand because Facebook empowers the worst elements in society while also putting our personal information out for everyone to mine.

Beautiful work and very exciting subject for a build!

Thanks and your right

first part printed and temporarily installed , these are only for proof of concept, they will lightly screwed in place , once the other wing part is done, it will also have the receptor for this hinge , also 3D printed, and temporarily screwed in place then the other part is the actuator cylinder . Once I happy , only then I will make these parts out of plywood and aluminum , so far its looking good but I can see where the plastic part might be extending a bit too much, will see
