What are you guys using for a rudder servo in your planes?

I am going to use either all Futaba BLS157's or Hitec 7954's all the way around. I have enough of both, I just need to decide.

I used my standard 35% setup and A123 batteries. Savox 1283's all around and a 1230 on the rudder.

I have switch for the most part to Savox. The 40% and 35% are getting

SAVSV1270TG

HV CORELESS DIGITAL SERVO .11/486.1 STANDARD SIZE 7.4V

I use 7.4 set up

Single 1230 on rudder for me. Just make sure the horn in the rudder is something you trust and add at least one extra hinge down there since they tend to take a beating with a single. Even on my ARF's when I run a single rudder servo in tail I will add a hinge or two.

1270 for me, I urge you to do as Terry says, seen my hinges take a beating, needed one more at the bottom of the rudder.

I am anticipating needing the tail weight anyhow due to the cans up front so I am using two in the rudder.

Prepped and primed the first coat on the cowl and canopy today. I started with 180 grit and then 220. I used a wax and grease remover before spraying. I will sand and spot fill tomorrow before spraying one last primer coat. I do not anticipate much need for to much spot putty as the glass work is very good on the cowl. The finish line is near I can feel it.
