Great servos. I went with the 7950's throughout my Sukhoi. What a sweet flying plane the H-9 Sukhoi is. Good to see another one getting ready for the wild blue yonder.@joehunt will be pleased as I bought some Hitec 9380's to try. Something about having all servos starting from the same center appeals to me.

I've been looking at the rudder . Considering the possibility of making a bigger one.

It's just my opinion, but the rudder size is just fine. I've done Knife Edge loops with absolute ease. Rolling harrier circles are no sweat for the Sukhoi either. The elevators are also very effective with no real gained advantage of larger ones. What I have found to be a bit lacking though is the ailerons. While they function quite well for the way the plane was designed, (precision IMAC) they do fall a tad short for slow huck extreme 3D. I have trouble holding it in a perfect hover without any torque rotation. Burring the ailerons hard right holds it close to stable, but the torque of the 3dub 170 will overcome the ailerons. I have been contemplating a heavier pitch prop or maybe longer servo arms. My 260 will hold the same hover with no problems at all. But all things being considered, I still feel the Sukhoi is still one of the finest and smoothest airframes I have ever flown.I bought an extra one and stripped it. I planned to make a larger one from it, but moved on. I'd make bigger ailerons first, then bigger elevators, then a bigger rudder... in order of priority... to me.
