Air ventilation, baffles and everything else.
Well I must say that the Extra cowling can really freak you out and by saying that I mean it is so narrow you can't do anything in there.
Lucky for me I've got a split cowl so it was much easier then I thought it'll be.
I've used several technics I've seen lately by some builders about the baffling.
Like I've said the cowl is very narrow we'll need to take every hot air outside so we will need to seal the gaps behind the cylinders and to create a wall that will force the air to go down.
That being said, I've used the Herex to create a rigid barrier and a flexible foam to be between the cowl walls and the Herex, exactly like in real planes that way the cowl wall is forced to touch the sealed wall and by that it creates an almost perfect seal.
As for the NACA duct, well the environment that these plastic ducts are forced to deal with is pretty hot so I've glued one just to test trial and to see if it can handle the heat inside the cowl.
