I'm going to try and keep them coated. Maybe I should look for something better??. I spent the day today working on the tiny lathe. Got work done on the tailstock. Still a lot to do to finish up the tailstock.

I did a little lathe work today. I like to play chess and have been thinking about cutting my own pieces. With zero planning I cut on a 1/2” aluminum rod for a few minutes. Tiny little guy. I need to jump to at least 1” metal.

Got the tailstock spindle done!

Still need to make the tailstock lock. Working on some type of display setup.
