Lots of nice progress since I tuned in. I edge glued 2 dowels stacked on the edge of a 36" long board and skimmed the flat off on a table saw. I don't know where the tail feather pattern is but I attached the one for the wingtips. Enjoy your build. I'm thinking everyone has some spare time on their hands.

Mine is a Delta but it has three wheels in it. Absolute pain in the butt to get the blade tracking in the right spot and even then unless cutting something soft like balsa the blade will start to follow the grain of the wood.

Working on tail feathers this weekend. Shave a flat side on a dowel, then a slit in the flat side, then soak in water for 2 days, then fit to form, then break some.

Very annoying to find S2, 3, 4, E3 and 4 not included in short kit. Numerous missing, incorrect parts, laser cuts, etc in this kit. I cut my own........

Piece S2 has some odd angles, I figured it out.

Cut, slot, bevel, sand, glue. Does it get any better?

That's a 1/16" blade? Nice!

Was sanding bevels into the elevator ribs and about day 2 I realized I could use a taper jig.
