Much tighter joints when I can use the mill. I milled in increments until the dowel was centered.

Enough for tonight. I will pin these when I glue them although I don't think they serve any structural purpose inside the steel tubing frame.

What criteria do you use to make it out steel or wood dowel.

Original plans show brass tubing between the landing gear connectors only, all else is wooden dowels. I thought complete steel tubing in cabin area encompassing landing gear to wing to engine would be better than wooden dowels so adjusted construction accordingly. Of course my landing skills may have been the deciding factor.

A little of floor work tonight. I see a lot of stained full size Cub floors so lite ply should work fine.

More cabin work today. About as tight as I can wedge the side wall in. Need to decide on a finish. Might skin the side walls with aluminum and paint of I want a color.
