Nice! I see you used a power supply with a battery charger 12.3V @ 5A 20gauge... how did you setup your charger for this?

Thanks! 20 ga was at 17.3 volts with a length of about 63”. The 20 ga was too stiff though. The lighter gauge was a little too light I think. Trying an in-between for the next size bow (40”) to cut the individual pieces. I am using my icharger. It has a built in foam cut program. I did find that the icharger 206b only went to a max voltage of about 25 volts (don’t quote me). The 306B goes to at least 38volts. It is really nice as the voltage goes up slowly and you can just keep ratcheting up the voltage as needed. Found it really easy. Using nichrome wire. Suppose you could use a mig wire (.022-.025”) that has a much lower resistance so would require a lower voltage to reach temperature. I did notice that the light gauge wire (37 ga) is too thin and found wouldn’t hold heat well during a long cut of the foam block.
