Hey guys! So here I will be documenting my half build. What is a half build? Well I bought a used airframe (6 or 7 flights on it) and will be building it up (New servos, New motor, New everything….) at least to the plane!

Looks awesome Mike! Im super jealous.

Thanks man! I've got to say without good friends in this hobby I wouldn't be putting this plane together! I would still be flying my EF 50cc Extra which was a good plane but this is such a great jump up!

I would be so nervous to fly that baby for the first time. My 30% Yak 54 has my full attention at all times when it's up. That 5% makes a huge huge difference.

I hear ya but that extra 5% really makes a huge difference in stability! The bigger the plane the easier it is to fly! I got it to make me look like a better pilot than I really am.... HA HA HA... Just kidding... While I have been wanting to go bigger the real reason for this move was simple, the economics of the deal. It was just such an amazing once in a life time deal that I just couldn't pass it up. Super excited to get her up in the air.
