I'm so glad you guys that have Pilots are participating in this thread and helping me! Do you have any pics of how you did the hardwood, Spats?

Dang, I can't believe I cannot find any. All I do though is cut out the bottom of the rudder and fit a piece of hardwood in and epoxy it good. The hard part is cutting the slots for the control horns. carful dremel work.

Cool, cool. Hey Spats, since you go push/pull on the rudder do you dremel out the rudder tray? I was thinking about doing that.

Oh I do like what I see! I have to imagine since the 100cc Pilot Edge construction is a carbon copy of the 50cc Pilot Edge, (only larger) then certainly the 100cc 330 Pilot would be carbon copy of the big one you're building...right?!?!? I really have been holding off ordering the 100cc 330 as a replacement for the PAU until I seen some of your build Joe. I think it's a definate now. Thanks Buddy for the pictures. I appreciate your time and effort of posting them.

Yeah, I'm getting a 100cc right now too, stang... I was trying to decide between a mini me (same scheme) on the Pilot Extra... getting the Pilot Edge instead... or some other plane.

Never thought about that. Might be a great idea. You got me thinking about all that weight now! Hmmm.

I almost forgot to show you this. I have not had it happen to me but a friend who does a lot of pop tops had the rear turtle deck start to bend and by installing this it stops it from happening.
