With weights and distance, isn't the CG calculation the same for any wing type.

Using the weights of the wheels with a leveled airframe and the distances of the wheels from the datum, the wing type does not matter. The calculation will provide the answer for where the CG is (relative to the datum).

For where the CG should be, interesting read below. I've seen a few drawings in other places but this link provides a lot of info in one place.

Congrats! I was right, looks great, sounds great, flies great.

I gave up on doing any taxi testing, always ended up the same way, in the air!

Jacquie has been with me on this build from the onset of planning it. It started with me asking her if I could copy her plane. Throughout the process she has been very informative, very helpful, and did not pause at any request I made of her. She has even went climbing through her attic to find documentation of the prop of which I needed to ensure I could match it with the engine. It has been a pure joy working with her and building this plane. I so look forward to meeting up with Jacquie for a meet and greet as well as photos. As I have mentioned on another site I also would like to put her on a buddy box and let her fly it. The wife and I are currently working on being able to do that come July in Texas.

Anyone here from NY or around NY? I would like some info, preferably an article, of the three Pitts like mine that flew around the statue of liberty in celebration of it's 1oo years and completion of it's refurbishment back in July of 86. Most likely the only way one will be found is in a newspaper of that time, found in the library, or some r/c enthusiast has an article.
I would even pay for one!
