Looks awesome Tony!Got a little done this AM, silver brazed the main strut bearing together, a 3/16" piece of plywood is sandwiched between the steel plates and a 3/8" x 3/4" spruced is backed, everything is jointed with 4-40 screws. Everything got painted with epoxy before assembling, the assembly got mated with epoxy and microfiber mixture to the floor and longerons. Once this cures, the rear bearing points will be located and installed.

Beautiful work!!Managed to get the last six landing gear fittings finished tonight after the grandsons went home, mounted the struts on the front fittings, really like the way they work. After looking at various planes on airliners.net decided the Cub tires just would not look right, found these DuBro 5 1/2" pneumatic tires will look much closer to the real thing. tried to order thru local hobby shop but learned they are discontinued, found these on Ebay, two different suppliers. I plan to make aluminum wheel covers.
Hopefully tomorrow morning I will get the rear landing gear fittings installed and install hard mount for the tail wheel. Then the firewall will glued into the final resting place.

Looking good and you got the cuts just right so that you did not get any kinking at the cuts nice job.The firewall and stringers are in. It is easier to draw the plane than build it. The plans show a nice radius on the stringers with everything else being nice straight lines. There was no way that was happening. To control the bending the straight formers were added in front of the bend, saw cut were made in the stringers to control were the bend was located on the drawing. The saw cuts were packed with epoxy and microfiber mixture, the stringers were installed and glued to the straight formers with thick CA, after the CA cured, the aft sections were clamped into the final position. Took a little fiddling around but everything is straight.
It is the annual steak and lobster fest at the Hallo household today, not much more work going on today. Tomorrow the fuselage will be removed and flipped over so that work on the top can begin.
